Barack Obama gives hope to many

The Senator from Illinois, the man who no one believed could be President has won. And by a landsline. This is really an historic moment for US, but also for the world.

Just watching Barack Obama talk to the crowd that was gathered in Grant Park, in Chicago, was something that shows how different he is from other politicians.

He showed that he is human, that he still thinks in those who elected him, that he loves his family (he recognized his wife, Michelle, as the future First Lady, and he said he will fulfill his promise to buy his daughters a puppy for being so supportive).

I think this is going to be a very different Presidency compared with the last 8 years with George Bush. From the beginning I did not trust George Bush, no matter how much he tried to show his country and the world he was a good President. In 2000 and then in 2004 I was expecting that US citizens will see he was not the kind of leader US needed.

Now they have understood this and they decided to change the situation. They elected an 'outsider', a different kind of politician, an African American, a good decent person. As someone said in Twitter, this makes me believe in humanity again.
